I attended the 10th annual RIBA lecture with which Kevin McCloud speaks of the 'jam & knitting in the urban fabric' and relates the seemingly bizzare title to his collection of stories and experiences especially during his time in mumbai. Seeing him talk of the incredible one million people living together in a slum yet insist that the crime there is lower compared to other areas, everyone is still smiling even while enduring many hardships is almost surreal
