This exhibition really provokes one to think twice about buying things known to be made in sweatshops. The large imbalance between work and effort taken for granted and the minute wages given in return is quite shocking. It must make one really uncomfortable after being invited to step onto the sunflower carpet, to realise that these were all handmade for months on end just to be stepped on under their foot.
