Shadow Catchers

According to Adam Fuss, a photogram has more intimacy and feeling than a regular photograph. I can only agree whole heartedly when viewing the images displayed in the gallery. Showcasing the works of various camera-less photographers, a whole new dimension to the beauty and unpredictability of art is revealed. Although all were outrageously sublime in their excecution, I preferred the work of Floris Neustuss, especially his 'be right back' art that portrayed on the floor, the 2-D shadow of a person on a seat, with a real-life empty chair placed in alignment of the shadows. Most unfortunate that photography inside was not allowed.
